As the Head of MFL you will play a pivotalrole in shaping the language curriculum and fostering a love forlanguages among our students.     Responsibilities

    • Leadand manage the MFL department ensuring the delivery of anexceptional MFL curriculum
    • Provide strategicdirection and support to MFL teachers fostering a positive learningenvironment
    • Monitor and evaluate the progressand achievements of students in MFL
    • Collaboratewith colleagues to develop and implement effective teachingstrategies and resources
    • Mentor and guide MFLteachers promoting professional growth anddevelopment
    • Contribute to the schools languageprograms and extracurricularactivities
    • Maintain accurate records of studentattendance behaviour andachievements

    Requirements

    • QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) orequivalent
    • Specialization in Modern ForeignLanguages (MFL) or a related field
    • Postgraduatedegree in MFL or Language Education(preferred)
    • Significant experience teaching MFLpreferably at the secondary level
    • Provenleadership and management skills with the ability to inspire andmotivate others
    • Excellent command of multiplelanguages
    • Strong communication organization andinterpersonal skills
    • Commitment to ongoingprofessional development and staying updated with advancements inlanguageeducation
