    This is a pivotal role in our organisation where the individual will act as an effective change leader in ensuring the seamless functioning of production processes while championing both product quality and food safety. This is a key people leadership role where the ability to effectively resource manage, lead people with dignity, maintain high level of skills development and flexibility and carry out the people elements of our business plan are paramount. Continual Improvement and fact based management through the use of Data and Company KPIs are key foundations of our business.

    Duties will include:

  • Working in conjunction with the Factory Manager and Training Manager to ensure that the Training Matrix is maintained as a working live document.
  • The successful candidates will be fully trained on all Standard Operating Procedures for their relevant area and will in turn train our production team as necessary.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that employee training documents are signed as training is completed.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that all departmental transferals or operative position changes are recorded in a timely manner and all relevant paperwork updated.
  • Work with the team to ensure that all Work Instructions are prepared and trained out to all relevant employees.
  • Work with the team to ensure that all 5S standards and rules are up to date and all employees are trained as necessary.
  • Ensure renewal training is carried out to all operatives in a timely manner.
  • Audit SOPs/operatives on a regular basis.
  • Highlight and advise training gaps as they occur.
  • Support new starters to the area as and when requested.
  • Highlight E Learning gaps and timetable to complete.
  • Provide Training on Food Safety Culture.
  • Audit Food Safety Culture.
  • Any other duties as required To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate that:

    You should have a strong track record in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing organisation.

    You are excellent at both written and verbal communication and can use your skills to build positive relationships both internally and externally.

    You are highly IT-literate.
