About The Role


We are currently recruiting for
FULL & PART TIME FEMALE SUPPORT WORKERS to work with a female client who has a spinal cord injury, living in her own home in the Chesterfield area.


Support Worker Duties:

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit for a
NEW CARE TEAM. You will work on a rota basis, including weekdays and weekends to cover day shifts and waking night shifts.

You will be supporting this client to maintain her independence and you must be flexible, reliable, intuitive and mindful.


The shift times are as follows:

Rates of Pay:
Up to £17.00 per hour upon successful completion of competencies and training.

Non-smokers would be preferred. An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check WILL be required
.

About You


You will be approachable, reliable and dependable and you will work well as part of a team, but also able to use your own initiative.

You must be respectful of this client's need for her own personal space and boundaries. Experience and ability to understand and deal with complex needs is desirable, including bowel and bladder care.

You must be good with dogs as there is a dog in the household that you would be required to walk.

You will also be flexible and willing to accompany this lady on holidays (both in the UK and abroad). Being registered on the DBS update service would be beneficial and a full driving licence would be preferred.
