OVERVIEW

Elrha wants to facilitate the creation of a staff representative group as a strategic initiative to support a positive and constructive work environment.

OBJECTIVES
Once established, we hope our staff representative group will:

Provide a platform to allow staff to voice their interests, ideas and concerns.
Provide a platform for the Directors Group to seek staff views on policies/changes to working practices and working conditions and provide a representative channel to discuss future plans.
Contribute to a greater trust, accountability and transparency across the organisation, improve consultative decisionmaking processes and ultimately increase organisational performance.
Support Elrha with achieving its goals and strategic plans.

DELIVERABLES
We are seeking to appoint an experienced consultant to facilitate the establishment of this group.

We expect the work will include:

Conducting a needs assessment and scoping to determine an appropriate framework for the group
Developing a plan for building the staff representative group, including outlining the steps and processes for membership, establishing the group's structure and decisionmaking processes, and setting out its mandate and goals.
Providing guidance and training to help facilitate engagement and provide advice on effective communication and decisionmaking strategies.
Recommending mechanisms for the group to maintain communication and engagement
Providing a framework for monitoring the group's progress and provide regular feedback to both staff and management on its progress and effectiveness.

HOW TO APPLY

The intended start date is 1 May 2023 and the period of implementation of the contract will be three months from this date (31 July).

However, we appreciate that the approach and the availability of staff may impact the indicative timeline and expected number of hours required to complete the project.
