The Operations Manager role:


Reporting to the Laboratory Leader, you will become responsible for the management, deployment and development of employees, processes, operational and behavioural standards to ensure achieve Financial, Operational and Performance targets.


You will be the orchestrator of the lab, managing multiple touchpoints and leading a group of team leaders to ensure all runs smoothly.


We're looking for a strong character to really compliment our structure and become the glue to pull our teams together through unbeatable leadership.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Working with the Laboratory Leader and Operations Director to deliver the lab plan.
  • Recruiting, retaining & developing employees to create high performing effective teams.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to support increased efficiency & and output
  • Ensuring all group and statutory Health & Safety requirements are met and maintained
  • Supporting and implementing procurement initiatives to optimise purchasing efficiently
  • Champion the brand and all brand initiatives including channels such as website, social media
  • Ensuring compliance in GDPR to ensure effective use of IT
  • Implementing group policy at the laboratory Review financial performance with lab leader and ensure that underlying performance is in line with Budget expectations
  • Developing strong relationships with strategic accounts and ensuring appropriate account practices are deployed

About you:


  • Educated to H level or equivalent Technical Qualification
  • Operations and/or Practise Management experience
  • At least 5 years dental sector experience
  • Execution oriented and target focused
  • Organised
  • Excellent People Manager
  • A driven people motivator
  • An inclusive, emotionally intelligent and kind team leader
  • IT competent in at least Microsoft Office 365 including Teams, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
