    Electrical Engineer
    Middlesbrough Up to £40,000 Plus Excellent Benefits Package

    Reporting to:
    UK & I Electrical Manager
    Global Distributor of chemicals & ingredients used in everyday products
    We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Middlesbrough.

    The Electrical Engineer role:

    As Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the application of electrical safety requirements and for the development and application of electrical technical procedures across all company sites.

    Playing a key role in the maintenance department, you will be working alongside the Mechanical Engineer and acting as deputy for the Electrical Manager.

    We are looking for an experienced individual who has worked in heavy industry or chemical industry, with a hands-on attitude to supervise and carry out electrical maintenance work activities to ensure optimal long-term availability of all plants, preservation of all assets and ensure Health Safety and Environmental obligations are met along with financial targets.

    Providing expert resource for the assessment of deferred maintenance, defects and corrective maintenance activities on electrical equipment.
    # Supervising or training electrical maintenance team members
    # Monitoring and maintaining records of authorised persons, and their associated training and competence records, utilising existing company systems as required
    # ...Time served with a four- or five-year apprenticeship or work experience in electrical engineering
    Qualified to HNC Electrical Engineering
    Strong understanding of Requirements for Electrical Installations / Regulations (18th Edition)
