My client, a leader in the design and build industry, is seeking a career-driven Estimator to join their growing team.

To assist the Bid Managers in the entire bidding process to enable the company to secure single suspended deck and multi-storey car park projects.

Analyse bid requirements from the Employer's Requirements/Contractor's Requirements/invitation to tender documents.
Prepare and issue detailed enquiries to Sub-Contractors and suppliers.
Obtain detailed quotations from Sub-Contractors and suppliers.
Obtain competitive market rates and prices.

Seek the best and most innovative alternative materials, products, processes, Sub-Contractors and suppliers to gain the greatest commercial advantage.

Assess and recommend the best value proposition from Sub-Contractors and suppliers for all elements of the cost estimate.
Assist in the compilation of the Contractor's Proposals Document.

Become a key member of the pre-contract team and make a positive contribution to the success of the company through winning profitable orders.

Knowledge of building estimating techniques.
Excel.
Proven knowledge of how a specialist Contractor operates.
Understanding of basic multi storey car park and structural design principles.
