    Optime Group are proudly working in partnership with a well-known Gatwick Airport ground handling business to recruit a team of Aircraft Cleaners (Flexible Working).

    Confirmed training dates:

    • 23rd June 2024

    What's on offer:

    • £12.86 per hour
    • PAID WEEKLY
    • 4 days paid training provided.
    • Work as little or as often as you like* (Must pick up a minimum of 2 shifts per month)
    • Ongoing shifts and development opportunities
    • 5 year full pass will be obtained
    • Trained on multiple skill to operate effectively.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Cleaning of all areas of various sizes of aeroplanes making sure they are ready for their next journeys.
    • Cleaning and restocking aircraft consumables.
    • Vacuuming carpets and wiping down equipment and surfaces.
    • Cleaning aircraft kitchen areas (galleys) and washrooms
    • Removing rubbish and making sure that it is properly disposed.
    • Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials.
    • Security checking of the aircraft and reporting any findings as per your training.

    Requirements:

    • Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card
    • This role requires you to stand for long periods of time (8 hours)
    • UK Settled Status (If applicable)
    • Proof of National Insurance
    • Proof of (current) Address
    • 5 Year Address History
    • 5 Year Work Reference History
    • Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.

    Shifts available:

    • 12:00 – 21:00
    • 12:30 – 21:30
    • 13:00 – 22:00
    • 14:00 – 23:00
    • *Minimum monthly hours required for training purposes.

    PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
