    Job Description At Invision we are currently working alongside one of the UKs leading building service providers who are in need of a Lead Engineer to join an existing team on a large site of 5 buildings.

    The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday on these buildings.

    The main aim is to provide all-round engineering support and maintaining the building infrastructure whilst having a detailed understanding of all new or current building services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health & Safety/building codes of practice.

    This is a client facing role where you'll be expected to liaise directly between the FM and subcontractors, ensuring subcontractors are scheduled in and adhering to H&S policies.


    To be first point of contact for on-site engineering team and monitoring of their work performance and standards, including internal auditing where applicable in conjunction with the Site Manager.

    Ensure that daily checks are completed and repair or report any defects using the helpdesk or reactive works job raising system.

    Maintain and supervise effective site handovers, including critical plant status, plant isolations, issues arising, ongoing works, special task requests, standard of housekeeping.

    Comply with both statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.

    Timely implementation and recording of all statutory inspections including accurate recording of FGAS, electrical, fire and water hygiene records.

    Where necessary be available to attend out of hours calls when required or when working the on-call shifts (including on public holidays).

    Control of 3rd party contractors including scheduling of work, monitoring of work performance and standards, including internal auditing where applicable in conjunction with the Site Manager.

    Ensure that Specialist Service Provider worksheets are signed off that quality of work is inspected and recommendations are escalated to the Integral Site Manager.

    Will be expected to operate and trouble shoot all building systems but not be limited to the following:
    BMS and electrical monitoring, Control system, Air handling, conditioning and terminal units - VAV and CRAC. Chiller, Domestic water services, Fire prevention and detection systems, Variable speed drives. Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services
    ~ Level - City & Guilds - Building Services Engineering HVAC or Electrical/ Mechanical or equivalent and competent in plumbing, joinery, tiling and painting.
    ~At least 3 years of engineering experience is essential.
    ~ Willing to work overtime and times to suit site needs.
    ~ To be on a call out rota
    ~ Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with experience of report writing.
    ~ Good computer literacy using Windows Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
    ~ Good written and verbal communication skills Experience of working in busy commercial contracts, managing and achieving KPIs and SLAs
