Legal Analyst/Commercial Underwriter

We are recruiting for a Legal Analyst/Commercial Underwriter to join the Commercial Underwriting team of a leading national organisation based in Guildford.

This is a fantastic In-House legal role and an opportunity to join a progressive organisation.

What are the day-to-day duties of the role?:

The role with be dealing with assessing/underwriting new risks
Developing new business
Managing delegated authority schemes
Implementing underwriting guidelines
Demonstrating a detailed understanding of risk exposure

Requirements Skills and Qualifications:

Experienced within a legal environment, working in a law firm or underwriting After the Event or Legal Expenses Insurance matters.
Experience as a fee earner, Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Barrister or a minimum of 2 years ATE/LEI Underwriting experience.
Experience of general commercial litigation.
Excellent communication skills.
