    Job summary

    Working as part of our Bristol based team as a Health CareAssistant youll, be responsible for coordinating patient lists and activitiesincluding teaching, administration, stock control and equipment maintenance.

    Main duties of the job

    The main duties for this Ward Health Care Assistant will be:

  • To effectively coordinate patient lists ensuring relevant informationand details are available and adequate
  • Assist with administration tasks, (ensuring files and requireddocumentation are kept up to date and accurate
  • Management of stock control, ensuring good levels, orderingwhen appropriate, pre-empting any shortfall
  • Ensuring equipment maintained, clean and fit for purpose,highlighting and documenting any faults
  • Having already achieved your BLS certificate you will bewilling to compete your NVQ level 3 if you havent already and it would be anadvantage if you have worked in acute healthcare environment.

    More important though is your flexibility, your knowledge ofinfection control, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative,follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload.

    Above all, you have a natural ability to help make the livesof others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work canbe hard, but also fun and rewarding.
