Novax Recruitment are hiring for a Senior Environmental Planner - Ecologist based in Northampton.


Duties Include:

  • Providing specialist technical advice to Local Authorities on ecology, biodiversity, nature conservation and Habitats.
  • Advise on the impact of new developments on biodiversity, ecology and nature conservation resources on behalf of Local Authority.
  • Be responsible for, coordinate and deliver development management casework for ecology including Three Test Assessments for European Protected Species.
  • Experience in survey and mitigation for habitats and species, and in ecological impact assessment, consultation, project design and management.

Requirements:


  • Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management or equivalent.
  • Experience in advising Local Planning Authorities on the impact of new developments on biodiversity.
  • Experience in the UK ecological consultancy market with a strong client facing approach.
  • Personal conservation licence for/working towards at least one protected species.
