Join ICL Boulby as part of the Underground Electrical team to ensure all machinery and equipment is installed, commissioned and operates in a safe and effective manner through the diligent execution of maintenance inspections and remedial work derived from such inspections.

Follow risk assessments and method statements, ensuring their suitability for tasks.
Utilise the Permit to Work system, issuing permits as required under the relevant authorisation levels.
Take responsibility for electrical isolations per the isolation procedure.
Plan, assess risks and execute workload efficiently.
Make informed decisions associated with hazard identification and risk management.
Offer suggestions for improvements in safety, performance and working practices.
Be a flexible and proactive team member, contributing knowledge and experience to the group.

You must be a time-served electrician with experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of heavy equipment ideally gained in a processing plant, a mine or a similar heavy industrial environment.

Familiarity with computer/PLC control systems plus conveyor and pumping systems would be advantageous
Level 2 Skills for Life (Numeracy, Literacy and ITQ) or evidence of GCSE equivalent/higher
A qualification in electrical engineering
Certification in Risk Assessment and IOSH Working Safely
