About the Role: Our client has exciting opportunities for 2 Mortgage Underwriting Assistants to join their growing Operations department. This is a great opportunity for a professional Administrator to join the mortgage industry.

This role will involve supporting the Underwriting team by carrying out administration tasks in a professional and efficient manner, whilst delivering a high level of customer to service to customers, intermediaries and valuers.

Responsibilities: Work to agreed objectives, services standards and deliverablesPrint mortgage offers / revised mortgage offers, collating and packing for postingAllocate emails to the case files within the mortgage origination systemManually input valuation report data onto mortgage origination systemAdd reinspection reports to case files in mortgage origination systemManage external relationship with external printing companies to always ensure sufficient stock levels of underwriting literature and ensure this is documented in line with processChase Post Valuation Query responses and booking updatesComplete and review Limited Company SearchesManage document allocation for portfolio customersProvide telephone support answering overflow calls during busy times and to cover absenceContribute suggestions for improvements to processes to enhance service and efficiencyApply all aspects of the desired consumer outcomes of Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF)

Take responsibility for your own learning and developmentAdhere to internal/external compliance, credit review and audit requirementsDeal with queries and enquiries effectively, accurately, and professionally, delivering excellent customer serviceDevelop positive working relationships with colleaguesAll other associated duties and responsibilities and carry out any tasks as required by managementExperience required:
Strong experience in administration, gained ideally within the financial services sector, but other sector experience can be considered.
