Do you have event management experience, and are you seeking a new fully remote job on an 18-month contract in St Albans? Charity People is looking for an Events Manager, and the role comes with an attractive salary of £40,000 with the potential to increaseto £43,560 based on annual performance targets.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Develop business opportunities for events and meetings that will help diversify and strengthen the income and impact of our events
  • Review the events and meetings portfolio and develop new relationships, new income streams and a new events strategy
  • Develop an events portfolio that will allow to maximise the attendance, impact and income of events.
  • Evidence of success in organising events and achieving the objectives intended during and after each event
  • A proven track record in event administration and communication, with analytical and communication skills allowing the successes and improvements to be communicated to the whole team
  • Proven background in marketing events to potential delegates, sponsors and exhibitors (online and in person)
  • Demonstratable experience in building partnerships and relationships with venues, event partners and sponsors
  • Excellent understanding of the notforprofit sector and how meetings and conferences achieve an organisation's charitable objectives (desirable)
