A manufacturer in Lydney are looking for a Reliability Engineer to join their team


Reliability Engineer - Overview

  • Devise planned maintenance and inspection schedules, ensuring they meet recognised industry best practice.
  • Maintain and audit maintenance activities for practices including vibration analysis, thermography, acoustic analysis, oil analysis and alignment.
  • Develop and manage the SAP system and master data, in regards to accuracy, optimisation of maintenance tasks, development of BOMs and reference to manuals and drawings.
  • Communicate with the maintenance team techniques for improving reliability and equipment condition monitoring.
  • Engage in development of failure reduction activities, leading FMEA and problem solving.
  • Ensure contractors are informed of the job requirements; arrange permits to work, and check suitable RAMs are in place to ensure such requirements are adhered to.
  • Ensure safety standards are maintained and safe working procedures are implemented
**Reliability Engineer

  • Job Requirements**:
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical preventative engineering principles with a comprehensive understanding of condition based plant monitoring systems
  • Ideally, a formal technical qualification in Engineering i.e. NVQ Level 3 / C&G Level 3 Electrical or mechanical equivalent.
