Accounts Payable Assistant (3-month Contract), £30,000- £35,000, Central London, and Hybrid

An exciting Fin tech company are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to welcome into their Finance department for 3 months.

The company have recently implemented a new system as they have been experiencing great growth, but this had led to a back log.

They are looking for an eager and inspiring Accounts Payable Assistant to come in and help them with their backlog and get their system running more efficiently

This is a very hands-on Finance role as you will be supporting and help maintain the company's financial health and the smooth running of the Financial Department.

You will be gaining insight and gain exposure into each area of the business.

Your role:

Be responsible for improving and maintaining strong financial controls as the business continues to grow
Be responsible for the daily liquidity reporting
In charge of processing invoices from supplies and assist with the billing of partners
Assisting with the payment runs and bank reconciliations
Be responsible for clearing invoices

Your Skills and Qualifications:

You will have previous Financial experience and an understanding of basic bookkeeping and financial management
High attention to detail and someone who wants to get stuck in
Experience with Sage Intact is desirable but not essential
Have a high level of numeracy and great communication skills
