G&H Care Limited provides a service to local authorities in the care of vulnerable children and young people with range of different disabilities. The company has been established by a small group of individuals whose combined experiences and faiths have joined a partnership to offer the best care for the children.

Some of the duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure that the services meets the homes' standards and regulations including Quality standards.
• Ensure the children placed in the homes are receiving a standard of care.
• Ensure all 3 homes have all documents compliant with the regulations.
• Provide effective leadership, management support, and guidance to Deputy Managers.
• Provide regular supervision and appraisal to Deputy Managers.
• Ensure staff attend inductions and all mandatory and refresher training.
• Work with the Recruitment Team to ensure the recruitment is properly done.
• Attend meetings with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with the staff, parents, Social Workers, and other professionals.
• Provide on call cover.
• Generate business (referral scheme,networking at hospitals, councils etc).
• Report to RI

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ofsted registered residential children's home
• Strong knowledge of care practices and protocols for children with diverse needs
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, families, staff members and local authorities

Education:

• Level 5 or equivalent qualification in Leadership and Management
• Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Children and Young People's workforce in Residential Childcare

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: Different locations of 3 homes within Liverpool/Bootle area

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £60,000 per annum

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability
