- Ensure that the services meets the homes' standards and regulations including Quality standards.
- Ensure the children placed in the homes are receiving a standard of care.
- Ensure all 3 homes have all documents compliant with the regulations.
- Provide effective leadership, management support, and guidance to Deputy Managers.
- Provide regular supervision and appraisal to Deputy Managers.
- Ensure staff attend inductions and all mandatory and refresher training.
- Work with the Recruitment Team to ensure the recruitment is properly done.
- Attend meetings with local authorities and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with the staff, parents, Social Workers, and other professionals.
- Provide on call cover.
- Generate business (referral scheme,networking at hospitals, councils etc).
- Report to RI
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ofsted registered residential children's home
- Strong knowledge of care practices and protocols for children with diverse needs
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, families, staff members and local authorities
