This is an opportunity to join our WPP People team to support IT, our largest corporate function.

With a reporting line to the Global People Director for IT, you will play a pivotal role in support of the delivery of the global technology strategy across our WPP enterprise.

This role is both operational and strategic with span to deliver across the IT function globally from business partnering to learning & development, performance & talent management, DE&I, health & wellbeing and volunteering in support of our overarching global WPP People strategy.

WPP IT is undergoing a significant transformation to modernise ways of working, build a new dynamic global infrastructure foundation to deliver global platforms to better manage our operational performance, clients, knowledge, insight and creative/media/production workflows, and also continue to protect WPP.


What you'll be doing:


This role will work on the most innovative, complex transformation, transaction, and technology changes, to develop the skills, ways of working, culture mindsets and behaviours we need to land change brilliantly across WPP.


  • Deliver on impactful people priorities that use technologyled, forwardthinking approaches, in solving organisation design problems unlocking the potential of tools for data analysis, organisation design and workforce planning to deliver faster and better outcomes
  • Working in collaboration with your IT People colleagues, champion, drive and deliver DE&I activities across IT in support of our WPP DE&I strategy to foster an inclusive work environment for all employees
  • Support and promote global industryleading wellbeing initiatives across IT, with a focus on giving back to communities through volunteering, and driving health awareness initiatives, to allow our people to prosper in their working environment
  • Support the evolution of the IT approach to talent development delivering innovative people interventions, which support the build out of core technical strategic capabilities
  • Drive groundswell support for completion of the WPPwide employee engagement survey. Ensuring action plans are developed, implemented and measured for success

What you'll need:


  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to engage, inspire, influence and secure buyin from leaders across the WPP and operating companies, in addition to external customers and global partners at senior career levels.
  • A connected people partner who role models through their own behaviour and actions, changing mindsets and cultures by inspiring, coaching, holding themself and others to account and setting the right cultural tone.
  • The ability to operate effectively in a matrix, demonstrate agility in a fastmoving organisation, and cultivate strong relationships globally.
  • Experience of Organisational Change Management
  • Change vision, business engagement, culture optimisation/behaviour change, business readiness and business adoption.
