As Commercial continues to grow, we are now looking for a Head of Cloud Solutions to join our Managed IT team to lead our cloud practice with a specific focus on the Microsoft Azure platform.


The role

As a Head of Cloud Solutions, you will be responsible for the creation of our 'go-to-market' cloud packages, including discovery and assessment, implementation, migration, and service operations packages.

You will be a key business contributor and be a point of authority with regards to new innovative cloud solutions, lead major client engagements and provide training and leadership to the team as our cloud practice continues to grow.


Your responsibilities as Head of Cloud Solutions will be:

  • To develop industry/vendor best practice processes and engagements for all areas of a successful cloud transformation journey
  • Build sound, longlasting relationships with the Microsoft Partner Manager and Account teams
  • Work to maintain the highest levels of Microsoft certifications, accreditations and lead our cloud practice to new heights including the Microsoft Azure Expert MSP level
  • Lead customer facing sales and technical engagements to highlight the benefits of cloud computing and the detailed engagement/transformation methodology
  • Lead a team to create and present complete customer RFP, RFI's, and SoW's as part of the sales cycle
  • Engage with the Product Review Board to develop new products and services based on your market expertise and client feedback
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the technology marketplace, trends and innovative and transformative technologies
  • Work across all business units and within an established client base to identify upsell and cross sell opportunities
  • Meet personal KPI's, goaloriented objectives and work within best practice frameworks
  • Develop and maintain technical skills to provide requisite client thought leadership and expertise

About you

  • You will have a proven track record in creating, developing and/or modernising a cloud practice focused on the Microsoft Azure platform within a reseller/solution provider environment.
  • Demonstrate experience of architecting and providing technical presales/solution architecture capabilities within a customer facing sales cycle.
  • A deep knowledge and certifications surrounding the Microsoft Azure platform, for example: Microsoft Azure Expert-Level certifications.
  • A broad range of technical knowledge covering all aspects of Cloud & Datacentre and Modern Workplace including Azure SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, M365, Citrix, VMware and the core Microsoft stack (Exchange, SQL Active Directory, etc)
  • An ability to lead the client through the technology lifecycle and ensure alignment between both their business and IT strategy
  • Proven experience of building strong, longlasting relationships with new and existing clients, vendors and partners
  • A full, clean driving licence will be required for this role
