£23,000 - £26,000 DoE

Cheltenham


We are working with a personal and commercial law firm, providing a full range of legal services, based in the heart of Cheltenham.

This growing team is looking for a Family Legal Secretary to join them on a permanent basis. You will be joining the familydepartment, and although this role is office-based, it provides free parking in central Cheltenham.


This is an excellent opportunity if you are a Family Legal Secretary looking to work for a fun and friendly team.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide secretarial support to the family fee earners, including audio typing, file/document management, and diary management
  • Use of proclaim case management system
  • Carry out file opening and legal compliance requirements
  • Liaise with clients on matter progression as and when directed

Skills/ Experience:


  • Experience working in a law firm as a secretary
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Fast and accurate typist with audiotyping experience
  • Able to cope with working in a busy department
  • A positive, teamfocussed approach to your work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using a case management system is desirable
