    Lead Automation Test Engineer (Technical) Permanent
    London with Hybrid working

    Due to continued growth, we are currently looking foran Lead Automation Test Engineer to join our London based delivery team.

    Run an Automation discovery and proof of concept for End To End testing via desktop client User Interface.

    Review the existing framework and scripts (prepared by Microsoft) and work with the client to determine automation objectives and framework / tooling required as the desktop client transitions to be a web based client.

    Roll out and operationalise an automation factory initially focusing on Automation of approx 500 User Acceptance Testing regression scripts, for the business.

    Minimum of 5 years experience working in a highly technical Agile environment
    Able to lead and provide peer review/direction to junior team members
    Solid background in technical software development
    Strong coding skills in Java or other coding language
    Solid experience in integration testing
    Proficient in test planning and reporting
    Experienced in developing automated test frameworks for Front End web applications and associated tooling (e.g. Confident using industry standard Java tooling such as Maven and Spring
    Experienced automating database access from Java (e.g. using Hibernate, JPA etc)
    Confident testing in a microservices environment and using mocking libraries such as WireMock
    Working knowledge of non functional testing
