CNC Miller

Salary £Neg (dependant on experience)

Location:
Witham

Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm

Our client an Engineering Company based in Witham are looking for a CNC Miller to join their team.

Day to Day duties for the CNC Miller:

  • Programming and setting machining centers.
  • Specialising in complex prismatic parts
  • Machining interesting parts that are small to medium batch quantities.
  • Creating programs on Mazak machining centers.
  • Understanding drawings with close tolerances
  • Machining with different types of materials.

Skills/experience required for the CNC Miller:

  • Time served engineer (at least 2 years within milling)
  • Experience on Mazak and Fanuc based machines
  • Experienced 3 & 5 Axis
  • Ability to follow technical drawings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team as well as on your own initiative
  • Experience on Hypermill Camware or similar is preferred but not essential
