Senior Associate / Associate Principal – The Fund for Nature

CrossBoundary Advisory provides transaction and investment advisory services having advised on over US$11bn worth of transactions across 75 countries globally, serving our clients from 24 offices spread across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Our advisory clients include development finance institutions, private equity firms, Fortune 100 companies, governments, and research institutions.

Our investment platforms, CrossBoundary Energy, CrossBoundary Access, and CrossBoundary Educational Infrastructure, directly finance projects to bring cheaper, cleaner, and more reliable electricity, as well as education infrastructure, to developing countries.

CrossBoundary's Natural Capital practice focuses on unlocking private capital for nature-based solutions that contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation, and address biodiversity loss.

We provide transaction support to companies in the agribusiness, aquaculture, and forestry sectors, as well as to nature-based carbon projects focused on restoration and conservation of nature.

We are embarking on an exciting new endeavour to launch The Fund for Nature (TFFN).

TFFN will invest to accelerate the development of high-quality nature-based projects in emerging markets with strong climate adaptation, biodiversity, and community impacts.

With strong endorsement from leading climate finance organizations, we are actively fundraising for the pilot fund with ambitions to build an at-scale investment platform for nature.

CrossBoundary is recruiting a full-time Senior Associate or Associate Principal to join The Fund for Nature team. Support preparation of capital raising materials and processes, including presentations, investment memoranda, fund and project finance models, and due diligence Q&A

Support management of TFFN's portfolio, including investment performance monitoring, and post-investment support

Team members come from diverse backgrounds but share several qualities: curiosity, humility, integrity, a drive for excellence, and a bias for action.

The chosen candidate will play an important role in a unique team with the opportunity to create impact on the nature-based solutions landscape in emerging markets.

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (or another relevant advanced degree/professional qualification)

Ability to build strong relationships with senior management of potential investors, investees, and donors
Strong financial modelling skills; experience in fund and project finance modelling preferred
