    Job Title- Clinical AssistantHours: 36hrs per week. Monday- Sunday as per local rota, varying shift pattern.Location: Denton Following the Michael Richards report, in which it was highlighted that diagnostic services should be delivered taking a new approach to provide more accessibility to people in the community away from acute settings, we at InHealth are excited to be partnering with the NHS to develop new Community Diagnostic Centres to support this vison.Following this we are delighted to be a new Community Diagnostic Centre in Torbay in Summer 2024, and are actively recruiting now to build a passionate and dedicated team to, ready to support this nationwide programme to enhance the availability of healthcare in the community, while enhancing your own career. Right now we are looking to recruit a Clinical Assistant into the team, to work alongside the Radiography Department in MRI, CT and Xray.     Main duties of the job

    As a clinical assistant, supporting the Radiography department, the core of your role is to ensure our patients receive the best standard of care from arrival through to departure. The Clinical Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the working day by welcoming patients into the clinical area and preparing them for their scan. This role will rotate between working alongside the Radiographers and working on the reception desk to support all parts of the patient journey Welcoming patients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departureEscorting patients to and from the clinical area as required, explaining the procedure in full and ensuring any questions or concerns are managed professionallyCompleting the patient's pre-scan data protection/consent form and health and safety questionnaire (where applicable)Assessing and monitoring the patient's condition after procedure, ensuring that any changes are reported to the relevant staff immediatelyAccurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management systemManaging administrative tasks within the department as required.Working on the reception desk, professionally welcoming patients into the Centre

  • Completing the patient's pre-scan data protection/consent form and health and safety questionnaire (where applicable)
  • Assessing and monitoring the patient's condition after procedure, ensuring that any changes are reported to the relevant staff immediately
  • Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system
  • Managing administrative tasks within the department as required.
  • Working on the reception desk, professionally welcoming patients into the Centre
  • We are looking for someone who has

  • Experience in a healthcare environment or a passion to work in healthcare
