    ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
    CIRCA £48,000

    LONDON

    Gi Pro are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join an independent consulting business with a focus on projects within healthcare and telecommunications.

    Currently undertaking projects ranging from several thousand pounds to multi-million-pound projects involving a vast array of engineering services in complex buildings.


    THE ROLE:
    As an experienced Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: Production of electrical system designs and specifications
    Producing design calculations
    Reviewing electrical system designs and specifications
    Production of technical reports
    Undertaking site surveys

    Coordination with external design teams; architectural, structural, PQS, CDM, etc and internal team; CAD, Revit, electrical, public health, sustainability disciplines.

    Inputting into practice improvements in work methods and delivery
    Collaborating with Associate Directors and Directors in identifying and implementing new work practices and innovation.
    Assist project the project leader with delivery of projects as required.
    Attend meetings and to deliver client presentations.
    Monitoring project costs and time and maintaining project deliverables.


    THE PERSON:

    To be considered for the position of Electrical Design Engineer you will have: A HNC/Degree qualification - Electrical or building services.

    Working towards Chartership.
    Professional membership of relevant institute (CIBSE, IET, IMechE, IHEEM)
    Experience of design in building services, (5-10 years minimum design experience).
    Been operating at Intermediate Engineer role or similar for at least 2 years
    Experience using Microsoft Office, Hevacomp, Amtech, Excel, MS Project etc
    Understanding of British standards, building regulations documents, etc.
    Knowledge of HTMs would also be of benefit.
    BENEFITS 26 days annual leave
    Circa £45,000 - £48,000
    4 x salary death in service
    4.5% Ee, 7% Er - Pension
    Probation 6 months
