Otto James Consulting is supporting a Cheshire based organisation in the search for a talented Commercial Finance Analyst.This role will see the successful, qualified, analyst work closely with the Senior Management Team and the wider business to provide the necessary clarity required to understand business performance. Insightful analysis is at the forefront of our decision making and you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the business, promoting growth and help to add value.The successful candidate will also be responsible for the continuous improvement and delivery of reporting packs and performance management reports to senior stakeholders up to Board level. Utilising the latest data interrogation techniques, you will be able to successfully influence outcomes and frame key messages succinctly Commercial Finance Analyst Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly revenue and Work in Progress reporting - ensuring it is accurate, timely and the variances are understood
- Scenario modelling prospective business growth plans and large scale investments
- Providing commercial support to the wider business across budgeting and reforecasting in particular
- Continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting - broaden the sources of data used for reporting
