Treasurer - Young Citizens

Charity People are proud and privileged to partner with Young Citizens to search for a new Treasurer.

Young Citizens is a National Charity that helps educate, inspire, and empower young people to take their place in society as engaged and active citizens.

The new Treasurer will join a dynamic board starting on a new strategic journey that will require the organisation to grow and develop significantly.

The Treasurer will make an important contribution by overseeing and monitoring the financial administration of the charity and ensuring it is legal, constitutional, financially viable and working within an accepted accounting practice.

We are looking for an individual who:

will assist and advise in the formation of the charity's strategy with particular regard to advising on financial and resource implications of delivering the strategy,

- has strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and a strong track record in strategic financial planning and risk management.
- has a good understanding of issues affecting the lives of children and young people and has the drive and ambition to support the Board on its mission and to help steer the charity through a time of exciting opportunity, transition, and development.
