    What an Audio Designer does at Criterion:
    Criterion considers audio to be fundamental to a great game and invests in it accordingly.

    Working closely with other audio designers and the development team, an Audio Designer creates original content throughout the course of development for an audio experience that is cutting edge in design, rich in aesthetic, and tightly focused on gameplay.

    Audio Designer overview:

    Follow and deliver on the Audio Direction and understand how each piece fits into and supports a readable, consistent, quality soundscape, by creating assets and implementation workflows that live up to the creative and technical aspirations.

    Work together with other disciplines to ensure a cohesive experience between Audio and other crafts.
    Contribute with creative and technical solutions to constantly improve the audio experience in our game.
    Utilise your creative voice to create satisfying and original audio that will delight our players.
    3+ years experience as a Sound Designer working in the Games industry.
    ~ BA, BSc, or equivalent work experience in Sound Design, Music Production or Recording Arts.
    ~ In depth knowledge of audio theory and sound design practices; Proficiency with audio software DAWs; Proficiency with audio plug in software such as Waves, FabFilter, iZotope, Soundtoys, etc.
    ~ Experience or knowledge of audio game development tools, such as Wwise, FMOD, or other proprietary Editors.
    ~ Knowledge or experience with any visual scripting program is a plus (such as Reaktor, Max, Pure Data, UDK).
    ~ A passion for learning and sharing, seeking new ways to improve the Audio in our games.
