- Lead and manage the design team
- Oversee the entire design and engineering process, including feasibility studies, concept design, detailed design, and construction execution
- Maintain a deep understanding of relevant UK construction regulations (CDM 2015) and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle
- Champion design excellence, ensuring all projects meet the highest quality, safety, and sustainability standards
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, mitigating risks and proactively addressing challenges
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's design and engineering strategies, aligning with broader business objectives
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in construction technology and methodologies, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement
- Relevant degree in civil engineering or architecture
- Experience leading a multi-disciplinary design team
- Ideally Chartered
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and codes of practice
- Strong CDM knowledge
- Strong knowledge of using software such as AutoCAD o BIM
- Full UK driving licence
- Up to £70,000 DOE

We are seeking a Principal Design Manager/Engineer to manage and lead on complex projects ensuring they are delivered from concept to completion.
In this role you will be responsible for the leading the multi-discipline design team working on various commercial and fleet EV charging station projects across the UK.
