    Description

Are you at university and thinking about the next steps of your career? Join the Tax Graduate Programme and work towards a new qualification while gaining invaluable experience.

What is the Tax Graduate Programme?

This is a three-year paid graduate programme where you'll work across various UK & Ireland (UK&I) or Financial Services (FS) tax teams.

You'll help companies manage every element of their tax affairs and tax risk policies with a key focus on sustainability.

You'll also learn more about your strengths, get help and support from experienced colleagues, and work towards becoming a qualified tax advisor.

Build an incredible network of important client relationships

    • Learn on the job alongside other experienced senior colleagues
    • Gain practical experience doing complex client work, gaining an overview of worldwide tax requirements and making an impact by tackling the challenges our clients face.

This programme will allow you to become part of our exciting company culture as you discover where a career in Tax at EY could take you.

As you study, you'll build technical and professional skills to help you progress in your career — and by the time you finish, you'll be experienced and confident enough to identify issues, solve them creatively and be ready to share what you've learned with new joiners.

Throughout the programme, you'll have access to an EY buddy, careers counsellor and apprenticeship coach to help you settle in — and once you have, you can take part in further training programmes, earning EY Badges for your achievements.

You'll receive a personal fund to spend towards your wellbeing and have access to our healthcare scheme. You can join our networks and communities and pick up new hobbies or sports with friends and colleagues. Furthermore, you can give back to your local community with two volunteering days a year.

Enjoy the chance to network, build connections, thrive in our inclusive, dynamic culture, and be valued for your contributions and unique perspectives.

By the end of the programme, you'll gain a Chartered Accountancy qualification (ICAS or ICAEW) with the option to work towards a Chartered Tax Advisor (CIOT) qualification.

If you're working for us in England, the programme is classed as a Level 7 Apprenticeship — equivalent to a master's degree.

We're a professional services organisation that helps companies make better decisions about business, finance and technology.

Our four main business areas — Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions, and Tax — transform how businesses work by providing innovative solutions and future-forward ideas.

We offer an exciting array of programmes across the UK for university students like you.
