    About the Role:

    • Location: Brigade Headquarters, 169 Union Street, SE1
    • Salary: Up to £151,000 base salary + package
    • Reports to: London Fire Commissioner

    As the Director of Communications and Engagement, you'll play a pivotal role in:

    • Advising senior leadership on communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.
    • Driving transformative change by improving the communications function to support strategic objectives.
    • Overseeing day-to-day operations and developing forward-looking communication plans.

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Proven experience in leading communication and stakeholder functions.
    • Strong political acuity and ability to navigate complex environments.
    • Track record of building strong relationships and delivering transformative change.

    ***You will ideally have experience from both the public and private sectors and of successfully navigating a complex and diverse stakeholder groups, ideally within organisations with large blue-collar workforces.***
