Payroll Advisor / £25,000 -£35,000 / Burton on Trent / Permanent / Hybrid


Macildowie are excited to be working with a very successful business based in
Burton on Trent who are currently recruiting for a
Payroll Advisor, who will be responsible for delivering a complete payroll service, using an in-house payroll system.


This is a
full time, permanent role, with a
hybrid work model, which allows you to work from 2 days, and 3 in the office.

They are offering
a great benefits package and a competitive salary of
£25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Run an end to end in house payroll for approximately 1300 employees a month and between weekly paid employees.
  • To input and update the database on a daily basis to ensure all the information is processed on time.
  • Ensure all records are correctly maintained and protected in line with GDPR regulations.
  • Prepare PAYE / NI payments.
  • Dealing with queries.
  • Liaising and building a good relationship with the HR and People Operations Team.
  • Support with Ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Analyse and validate all input documents prior to processing
  • Reconcile all managed services including salary advances, overtime, expenses

Skills and requirements:


  • Previous experience working in payroll
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast moving environment
  • Ability to meet other employees needs
