Green Cat Geotechnical has extensive experience in all aspects of geotechnical assessments, from scoping of ground investigations and drilling boreholes, through in situ and laboratory testing to interpretation, advice and liaison with regulators and other professionals.

Our team continues to expand, and we are looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated a Geotechnical Technician with the ability to work alone and as part of a team. The successful candidate would be part of the team covering all aspects of ground investigation from desk study, drilling, site, and laboratory testing to full interpretative reporting.
The Role
Flexibility is required as you will sometimes travel and lodge if the site is too far away from home, with time split between both site (days/nights/weekends) and from the office/your home.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Perform a range of geotechnical site tests including plate load, density, and resistivity.
Laboratory testing of rock and soil to UKAS Accredited Standard.
Sample and test concrete on site and in laboratory.
The Candidate
The Candidate would ideally have the following:
Good communications skills
Good organisational skills
Flexible and committed to the role
Confident and knowledgeable in UK soil, rock and concrete testing and sampling
Hold CSCS Card (desirable)
Have a full clean UK driving licence (essential)
