ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT - ADELAIDE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Grade:3, scp 3-5


Salary:
£20,812 - £21,575 FTE, £17,458 - £18,098 Actual, £10.79-£11.18/hr

Hours of work:37hrs/week, Monday - Friday

Contract:
Maternity cover until June 2024, Term time only (190 days)


Start date:
September 2023

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a skilled Administration Assistant to join our wonderful team.

Having experience in all aspects of administrative duties you will be able to contribute to the development of the school's administration, financial and support services, and be the first point of call for our parents/visitors on Reception.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Provide all aspects of the school's administrative, financial and support services with a focus on attendance.
  • Deal with reception visitors
  • Assist with managing and maintaining manual and computerised records
  • Organise school trips/events
  • Undertake typing and IT based tasks e.g. ScholarPack input / updating online sites

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


  • GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • Training in IT based systems e.g. Microsoft Package, Sage
  • Experience using ScholarPack or equivalent pupil database
  • Experience of communicating with the public and outside agencies
  • Experience of producing / maintaining / evaluating data
