BCM is part of FAREVA, one of the world's leading subcontractors in the Industrial and Household, Cosmetics and Pharmaceuticals fields

We have a range of solutions to suit our customers' needs and requirements - we manufacture iconic brands right from the client brief through to the completed product.

We believe that whatever field you're in and at whatever level, you will be able to take ownership of your own development and progression and we will support you in this.

We have an opportunity for a
Technical Operator to join our team for a fixed term of 6 months. You will be part of a leading international FMCG organisation manufacturing cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. We are offering a competitive salary along with a generous benefits package.

Working as part of a multi-disciplined team who are packing and inspecting products, you will be carrying out assembly, adjustments and cleaning of complex packing machinery for packing runs.

This will entail, removing 'change parts' repairing where appropriate and ensuring they are stored correctly. Once trained, you will install change parts and line equipment for a new run.

You will be working with pressurised systems (water and air) and making sure the line is optimised for balance and performance, rectifying minor faults and supporting the Engineers on major breakdowns.

The role is full-time, Monday-Friday with rotating shifts, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, or Nights - 10pm to 6am.
You will have demonstrable skills in mechanical comprehension, communication, numeracy and literacy, together with an interest in engineering. You will also have some experience in contributing to process improvement activities.

It is likely that you will have a significant knowledge of Health and Safety practices, with experience of GMP, working to standards and time constraints also being evident.

It would be advantageous if you could also demonstrate elements of process/standard improvements, fault finding and working in a flexible team environment.

As part of your ongoing development, you will receive training and development opportunities.
