- Define and manage clear KPI's (predictive where possible) to support the success of the team in line with the business strategy focusing on, but not limited to, overdue items, lead times and inventory levels.
- Continuously drive efficiencies through the team's processes to meet increasingly higher standards of performance, including the company's commitment to high service levels for customers.

Purpose of the Job
Day to day management of the operational purchasing and planning team, across multiple sites, in the UK and abroad. Ensuring support and development of the team to deliver the highest standards of customer focus in all aspects of the team's activity, while maximising the cost-effective use of production resources and minimising stock levels.
Ensuring clearly defined KPI's are delivered in line with the overall business strategy of Supply Chain Excellence. Ensuring seamless supply of material of the right quality, at the right time in the right quantities to the right place.
Expected to work on own initiative, the post holder will have a key role in delivering significant improvements in a creative and sustained manner to assist the business to meet its strategic growth plans. You will be point of escalation for the team, resolving key issues with internal and external stakeholders.
