An exciting opportunity for our client a market leader within the field of Ground Service Equipment repair and maintenance for a qualified Technician to join our team at Heathrow.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to service, repair and maintain all types of Ground Service Equipment (GSE) performing preventive maintenance and repairs on all vehicles.

GSE Technician / Vehicle mechanic requirements

You will need to:

• Be able to demonstrate your Right To Work in the UK Be able to obtain an airside pass which will require you to undergo a criminal record check and 5-year history verification.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Provide certifications for all qualifications.
• Ability to deal effectively with people at different levels, someone who is a good team player, willing to listen and take new ideas on board with a 'can do' attitude.
• GSE Technician Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience working on GSE/Commercial or plant vehicles.
• City and Guilds certification in Motor Mechanics or equivalent (essential)level 3 may consider level 2.

GSE Technician / Vehicle mechanic main purpose of the job:

• Undertake repairs and maintenance of vehicles to the required standard. Adhere to corporate Health and Safety guidelines, ISO 9001 framework and guidelines on vehicle maintenance.
• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of GSE Equipment
• Complete all paperwork to a high standard.
• Providing a best-in-class customer experience for our business customers
• Comply with H+S Legislation
• Assist in carrying out all vehicle mechanical and electrical PPM (Planned and
• Preventative Maintenance) in line with set schedules.
• Automotive mechanical experience.
