    Job Description

    As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and management of engineers and subcontractors ensuring all health, safety and environmental policies are adhered to.

    Additionally, you will be working with the operations manager to ensure all contract responsibilities are met and the client is suitably engaged.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure engineer standards of work are sufficient and adhere to both SFG20 and manufacturers guidance.
  • Monitor efficiency and SLA adherence targets for engineers and allocation by helpdesk
  • Manage reallocation and suspension of tasks dependant on recorded outcomes by engineer, maintaining records for information requirement, parts ordering and allocation to subcontractor
  • Maintain a functional out of hours and rota - arranging cover where necessary
  • Identify and monitor training requirements of staff maintaining an accurate training matrix
  • Problem solve complex faults, engaging advanced testing and proving methodologies
  • Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities management, engineering or construction related position.
  • Ideally experience of working in an airport environment.
  • Ideally background in Mechanical, Electrical or Commercial refrigeration engineering
  • Ability to understand and map client requirements into a working plan of action
  • Good delegation and feedback skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft packages for email, document creation and monitoring.
  • Assertive team orientated management style.
  • Excellent communication skills both up and down
