We're currently going through an extended period of growth and are in the process of international expansion having already expanded into the German market, meaning there is
no better time to join us

The Role:

Our Edinburgh-based Product and Tech team has grown rapidly (now 10) over the past two years, and we're now looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join the team

The successful Senior UX/UI Designer will be excited by the opportunity to work end to end across the whole design and product development process in a hands on role.

Your remit will span initial user research, through to producing high fidelity designs and user testing.

We have B2B & B2C facing products & live projects running concurrently, so you'll need to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable context-switching.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of, wireframes & prototypes through to high fidelity designs for all B2B & B2C facing products, to ensure the very best experience for our members and clients
  • Work with the Product Director to conduct user research through user testing, user interviews and surveys
  • Make sense of user behaviour and use your extensive knowledge of UX design techniques and methodologies to turn it into actionable product deliverables
  • Work with the Product Director to create a vision of our longer term design ambitions
  • Review frontend implementation and collaborate with the development team to ensure that it matches the design requirements
  • Own and iterate on our design system and component library (currently in Figma), ensuring there is consistency across our website and products

What makes our team & culture great?

We're really proud of the great culture we've developed in our Edinburgh-based Tech & Product team - a good balance of hybrid working with an inclusive in-office culture too.

Every Thursday we work in the Edinburgh office together, and so you'll be required to work in the office on this day each week.

You're also welcome & encouraged to use the office as much as you like beyond that. We find this in-person day helpful for gathering around the whiteboard and meetings better placed outside of Zoom.

We work hard to balance our ambitious objectives with our own personal development each sprint. We operate on a "no egos" basis and push for a high-performing team with psychological safety. You'll find very little red tape or unnecessary constraints in our processes. Our drive for evidence and data-driven decisions, has helped us in creating multiple products that we take a lot of pride in
