    The Senior Global Media Planning Manager is responsible for Global Media guidelines for select Haleon brands.

    They work closely with Global Brand Managers and Directors to brief, develop and communicate media guidelines that help markets grow their business.

    These strategies should be rooted in brand and business objectives, and consumer insights that propel a creative approach to media activation.

    The communications should reflect the Global Media strategy and the BU priorities.

    Whilst a large part of their role is to support the media planning function, they are specifically tasked with bringing more creativity into the media planning process, developing ideas to elevate create to stand out executions

    This role reports to the Global Head of Media Planning.

    Works closely with the media and creative agencies to generate standout campaign ideas that markets can implement


    • Responsible for delivering an internal programme showcasing creative ideas from wider industry to be shared with Haleon media and marketing functions
    • Works closely with Global media partners and other media owners to generate innovative and show stopping media solutions
    • Supports the head of media planning and the planning director on briefing, developing and communicating Global brand media guidelines
    • Leads the development of the Global media guidelines for some of Haleon's smaller power brands
    • Works with Global Media's agency planning teams to produce consumer led, creative media activations that can be implemented by local markets
    • Works with Media Leads in design markets to ensure Global media strategies and communications developments are nuanced for their needs
    • Supports local Media Leads with reviewing specific media owner publishers, placements, locations - including identifying key OOH opportunities in major Global cities
    • Works closely with Global Measurement and Analytics teams to incorporate learnings from tests and performance results
    • Recommends Test & Learn approach within each Global Media guideline, focusing on channel diversity and quality improvements, and works with markets to help implement
    • Supports local media leads with informed views on local implementation of global guidelines
    • Collaborates with other Global Media functions and measurement teams to ensure strategies include investment models, taxonomy, Lumina requirements and measurement models
    • Supports the Head of Media Planning and Planning Director in organising quarterly media reviews, including market spends, adherence to strategy, channel mix, tactical optimisations, test & learn, creative usage
    Significant experience within advertising, ideally having worked within a media or communications agency.
