Description
Our client is an established and successful distributor who have been trading for over 100 years. With over 170 staff across multiple sites, they are looking for someone to work from their Castleford depot.


You'll be working:


  • Full time and permanent Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
  • Hours usually between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday
  • Occasional Saturdays may be required 8am to 12pm


A flexible approach to working hours and conditions is a prerequisite to cover month ends and Saturday mornings as required.


Working as part of the Service Admin Team, you will prepare and record service documentation and assist with warranty documentation.

  • Working in a professional, organised manner, undertaking all admin work for a busy HGV service department.
  • Process all paperwork keeping a document trail.
  • File and maintain all service and vehicle records in line with our systems.
  • Building & constructing accurate quotes and estimates for customers
  • Keep yourself up to date on any factory recalls and other relevant information.
  • Reconcile all paperwork and charges, working with accounts in the recording of these.
  • Assists with any other necessary admin duties in working with your team.

Key Requirements:


  • Previous experience in the motor trade and a technical knowledge of vehicle parts is desirable.
  • The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, specifications, O&M Manuals etc.
  • Great customer service skills and professionalism.
  • The ability to use mathematics in the role in calculating financials related to service costs.
  • The ability to work to deadlines and time manage efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, management, and outside agencies including the communication of complex information.
  • Selfdisciplined with the ability to control your own workload.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Excel.
