    Description

    A fantastic opportunity for someone experienced in warehousing, stock control and shipping

    We're looking for a Warehouse Controller to join our team here in Cambridge, taking responsibility for the receipt, storage and shipping of both parts and finished goods. The role will give you a good level of autonomy and you'll be able to make it your own; we'd like someone who will make suggestions about how we can continue to work more efficiently and support the business in understanding and following our processes. Ideally, you'll have experience working with electronic components as well as a solid understanding of SAP.

    Day to day, the role will involve:

  • Incoming receipt and inspection of goods
  • Storage of parts in a safe manner
  • Kitting of works orders
  • Issuing of shortages to work orders
  • Issuing stores requests
  • Dispatching items from MRP from sales orders
  • Creating manual excel shipment paperwork when required
  • Liaising with customers regarding shipments
  • Receiving RMA and Demo machines
  • Ensuring the stores environment is tidy, safe and organised
  • MRP system updated with correct BIN locations
  • Ensuring stock accuracy within SAP
  • Organising courier collections when required
  • Working with a high level of focus on quality at all times
  • Communicating with other plants/areas in an effective manner
  • Involvement in stock checks of the stores area as required
  • Your profile

  • Sound working knowledge of SAP (MIGO)
  • Knowledge of electronic components and mechanical drawings
  • Experience in a stores/warehouse role previously
  • Ability to communicate and engage with a variety of colleagues at all levels
  • Proactive, positive attitude
