I'm working with a Market Leading intelligent protection manufacturer who specialise in developing innovative solutions with cutting edge technology to protect people and safely secure high value assets.

My client is currently look for Two Firmware Design Engineers to join the R&D team who will be responsible for developing and testing embedded Software products.

As a Firmware Design Engineer, you will have the benefit of a great work culture and environment whilst working on an array of high-level exciting projects for new and emerging technologies to bring new products from concept through to production.

Key ResponsibilitiesEmbedded Firmware Design and Development.

Design and develop PC based test environments to allow the verification and validation of software, electronics and products during the design life cycle.

This will primarily be written in C#.Complete verification and validation process on developed embedded software and systems.
Provide solutions to design requirements and design issues.
Key skillsBsC in Electronics/Software or equivalantWrite & Debug Embedded C/C++Bare MetalElectronics KnowledgeVerification & ValidationCommunication Protocols - UART, SPI, I2C and USBOperate test equipment to validate firmware (e.g. Desirable skillsExperience of Microchip MicrocontrollersExperience of Texas Instruments MSP / RF Microcontrollers8 bit Microchip Assembly language.
