    Description

    I have worked with this client for over 10 years They are looking for an HR Advisor to join them for a 12 month maternity cover, you will need to be onsite in the office in Enfield.

    Reporting into the Head of HR, you will manage your own caseload, providing support to their group leaders and management teams on a full range of ER issues including attendance, performance, talent management and recruitment as well as contributing to employee engagement, well-being initiatives and HR projects.

    • Be the first point of contact for Employee Relations (ER) queries for managers for your areas of responsibility: provide advice in a coaching manner to ensure managers are empowered to make future decisions based on knowledge gained.
    • Support on complex cases including attending hearings, investigation meetings, appeals as appropriate
    • Support and guide managers with change initiatives and projects
    • .Assist and advise employees on HR related issues including payroll queries with support from the Payroll and HR Administration teams.
    • Ensure management of all processes in a timely manner and within policy guidelines ensuring that documentation is recorded and stored in line with GDPR and company policy.
    • Seek to improve employee engagement through working groups and other initiatives.
    • Empower and coach line managers to be able to respond to daily operational issues and challenge areas when this not being achieved.
    • Work in conjunction with the L&D team and other relevant parties to ensure managers are trained in relevant company policies and procedures. Support talent development and succession planning programmes.
    • Support recruitment requirements liaising with the Recruitment team and HR administrators to ensure successful on boarding of new hires and internal promotions.
    • Contribute to the development of organisational policies and procedures ensuring these are embedded across the groups.
    • Prepare and present accurate data and information for SMT reports as required.
    You will need the following experience:-
    • CIPD Qualified or equivalent
    • Experience working in a HR role providing advice and support for all HR matters including managing change programmes.
    • Strong Employee Relations experience
    • Experience using HR databases
    • Knowledgeable with UK employment law and HR best practice
    • Strong organisational skills
    • Work discreetly with confidential and sensitive information and escalate concerns appropriately
    • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm whilst still maintaining attention to detail
    • Results driven
    • Tenacious & pragmatic
    In return they offer a salary of £38-40,000 and you will need to be on site initially for 2 months and then 1 day working from home.
