    We are looking for an Optometristto cover a maternity leave in our Newcastle Under Lyme team - week 1: Tuesday& Wednesdayand week 2: Tuesday,Wednesday & Saturday (8:30am - 5pm).

    As an integral member of the Optometrist team, we will provide you with an enjoyable professional working environment which is fun, open and where we are committed to supporting you, your professional development, and your personal wellbeing.

    Competitive salary up to £60,000 per annum (pro rata for part time hours).
    5 weeks' holiday, plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time hours).

    Our eye testsare so thorough which is why we only employ highly trained Optometrists to provide our clients with the best quality care and getting to know your clients in more depth.

    Our 45-minute eye test is very comprehensive and gives you time to really understand your Clients' needs and lifestyle and then recommend solutions that fit best to that lifestyle by following the GOC and College of Optometry guidelines.

    Alongside having your Optometry Degree and being GOC registered, you will have excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to build strong relationships with your team members, peers, and clients.
