Our client is a leading Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management provider in the renewable energy and sustainability sector.

Their main focus is the construction and installation of Electric Vehicle charging systems, Solar PV installations, Energy Storage solutions, and Private Network Electrical infrastructures.

Due to continued growth, they seek an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee 11kV - 33kV projects within our renewable energy and sustainability division. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of electrical project execution, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of 11kV - 33kV electrical projects, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project implementation.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and material procurement, to meet project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and successes.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project duration.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in electrical project management to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical project management, with a focus on 11kV - 33kV projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, regulations, and safety standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good commercial awareness and knowledge of NEC contracts
• Excellent knowledge of CDM Regs.
