Our Building Services team are looking for a Working Reactive Supervisor to join the team in on one of our facilities management projects in Kent.


The purpose of this role will be to efficiently and effectively undertake the direction and supervision of staff within the operations team.

This will include supervision of work as part of a planned maintenance and reactive/variable works, providing an ad-hoc and breakdown service via a customer helpdesk arrangement and supporting an out of hours emergency service.


You'll:


  • Ensure completion of daily reactive tasks within set agree SLA's, including being responsible for ensuring appropriate access arrangements are made for work to be undertaken and that any disconnection or break in service is prearranged as appropriate guild and guide the team by example.
  • Steer on safety initiatives, carrying out toolbox talks, learning and guiding on new methods of working etc.
  • Assist in developing and shaping the structure of the team working to best practice and the safest standards.
  • Support fellow team members of varying trades with discipline specific PPMs / Reactive jobs.

We are looking for:


  • A minimum of HVAC Electrical/Mechanical City & Guilds, Part 1 and 2 or 'A' and 'B or equivalent, experience and multi skilling capability.
  • Good knowledge of H&S Legislation and knowledge of COSHH
  • Experience of building maintenance and systems
  • Team Supervisory Experience
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written
