Job Description:

As the Electrical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing electrical installations and ensuring the successful delivery of commercial solar and battery projects.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality assurance, and timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:
Coordinate and manage electrical aspects of commercial solar and battery projects from inception to completion


2 Team Leadership:
Supervise and motivate electrical teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives


3 Quality Assurance:
Ensure electrical installations meet industry standards, regulations, and company specifications


4 Safety Compliance:
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel


5 Resource Management:
Oversee resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to optimise project efficiency


6 Technical Expertise:
Provide technical expertise in electrical systems, troubleshooting issues, and proposing innovative solutions


7 Client Interaction:
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to address electrical requirements and maintain positive relationships


8 Documentation:
Maintain accurate records, including project documentation, reports, and compliance certificates


Requirements:

Electrical Qualifications:
Experienced Electrical Manager or Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field


2 Experience:
Proven experience in electrical project management, preferably within the renewable energy sector


3 Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively


4 Technical Proficiency:
Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and regulations


5 Communication:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders


6 Problem-Solving:
Analytical thinker with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues


7 Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail


8 Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as City and Guilds, NAPIT, NICEIC, ECS, or equivalent are desirable


9 Driving License:
Valid UK driving license
