    Description
    Proposals Engineer ObjectivesTo produce bids and estimates to support the company in the securing of work.
    To ensure bids are the technical, commercially & contractually compliant. Key TasksReview enquiry documentation from a technical and commercial perspective and identify risk.
    Ensure deadlines are achieved for a range of all services as required by the enquiry. These to include as a minimum automation, panel manufacture, electrical installation & service & support.
    Produce estimates in line with company process & procedures.
    Produce the Proposal document that presents the solution to the customer attractively and highlights value add including competitiveness.
    Ensure that all estimates are competitive, adhere to clients' requirements and are produced to requisite standards.
    Ensure that the solution is customer driven and focused on customer requirements.
    Drive innovation and technology to support a competitive edge.
    Work with the management team and engineering teams to provide value add to the proposal.
    Liaise with the customer throughout the bid lifecycle including after submission.
    Produce a Risk Assessment during the bid process to support the bid.
    Present the proposal to the Management for approval including by a formal presentation, if required.
    Ensure effective monitoring and drive efficiency relating to the work being carried out.
    Communicate both internally and externally to support the bid process.
